Senior Web Designer (with .NET development and IIS experience)

Yoh has a direct hire opportunity for a Senior Web Designer (with .NET development and IIS experience) to join our client in Houston, Texas.

Scope: (Please read before applying):

- This is a cross-over set of skills that we are looking for in that we are hoping to find a Sr. Web Designer person who has .NET experience that can both manage our client's main website which is built on a package called Ektron and is .Net4 based.
- This is a Web Designer but with Systems Back End experience.
- We also want them to lead in the moving over the client's websites to integrate with the main website. So having IIS experience in Windows 2008 would another skill that is needed.
- .NET 4, IIS in windows 2008 experience is a must.

Job Responsibilities:

- The Senior Web Designer will complete design and support tasks within the IT group with minimal supervision.
- Senior Web Designer (with .NET development expertise) will work with client's IT customers to analyze and understand their information technology (IT) business requirements.
- Will provide technology web requirements to accomplish customer requirements.
- Other responsibilities include writing UI code using the HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery libraries; writing business logic and Middleware code within the Microsoft web technology stack, using .Net, MVC, XML, AJAX, Web Services (WCF, WebAPI); and working closely with end users and management in analysing business web-based needs, designing, validating and documenting application requirements.
- Provide content management, security and report distribution.
- Gathers and manages requirements for future Website Development.
- Coordinate with third party organizations regarding web applications utilized by the client and the technical requirements associated with those applications.
- The Senior Web Designer is responsible for taking action to enhance cross-functional coordination and expand internal communications within client' IT group.
- Ensure that the web technology deliverables are met in a timely fashion.
- Create and execute test plans and implementation plans and document results for web projects, third party web deliverables to be utilized, and joint web development projects.

Job Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university is required, with a concentration in IT discipline or Management Information Systems preferred.
- Five to eight (5 - 8) years of related experience is required. Microsoft certification is preferred.
- IIS experience in Windows 2008.
- Prior Web Designing with Systems Back End experience is required.
