Software Engineer

Bachelor's degree from a top university with a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Master's degree preferred.  Top computer science program preferred (Carnegie Mellon University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology/MIT, Stanford University, University of California-Berkeley, Cornell University, University of Illinois-Urbana-Champaign, Princeton University, University of Washington, University of Texas-Austin, Georgia Institute of Technology, California Institute of Technology, University of Wisconsin-Madison, University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, etc.). Will also consider candidates from Texas A&M and Rice University.

Responsibilities:

-Tackle the hardest problems through analysis, experimentation, design, and elegant implementation.

-Build what the organization needs to explore data's possibilities and act on findings.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree, at minimum, from a top university with a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Master's degree preferred. Top computer science program preferred.

-Exceptional programming skills.

-Experience with C or languages that target the JVM.

-Knowledge of Kernel level development.

-Knowledge of machine learning.

-Knowledge of distributed systems.

-Experience in large-scale systems is highly desirable.

-Strong analytical and organizational skills.

-An obsession with building quality software.
