Description:

SAIC is looking for a mid to senior candidate, proficient in CUDA programming on Linux or Windows platforms. Must be proficient in Python language. The candidate will become part of diverse team of engineers and analysts and must be able to work in a team environment. Candidate exhibit good verbal communication skills and the ability to document work performed.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Support design, development, integration, testing, and fielding of new and existing software
- Assist in planning and coordinating all activities related to requirements gathering, design, development, and implementation of client information systems and software applications
- Collaborate with analysts, designers, and system owners in the testing of new software programs and applications
- Apply proven communication skills, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of best practices to work with the Application Development Lead on issues related to the design, development, and deployment of client oriented, mission-critical information and software systems
- Liaise with Software Engineers to assist with quality assurance and documentation.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline (Master's preferred) and 5+ years expreince.
- Must be very proficient in CUDA programming
- Must be very proficient in Python and C++

Desired Qualifications

- Master's Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
- Proficiency in CGAL and/or computation geometry packages
- Understanding of point cloud data
