Description:

The successful candidate will have 2+ years of active MS SQL development experience, to include construction, test, and deployment of stored procedures. Candidate must be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of Transact-SQL and be able to create complex queries.
In addition, candidate must have a good understanding of SQL Server administration and Windows 2008 Server administration for a secure, high availability DoD environment.
Additional Desired Experience:

- Familiarity with .NET programming (C#, VB)

- Familiarity with Linux administration and Scripting and mysql

Additional Responsibilities Associated with this Role:

- Responsible for managing the functionality and efficiency of one or more operating systems.

- This could include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software, validating and implementing critical system patches, and allocating mass storage space.

Qualifications:

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in related technical discipline and 3+ years of operating systems experience (equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree). Viewed as a well-developed technical resource capable of handling moderately complex assignment.
