Key Role:
Design, configure, install, and test IT network systems consisting of Cisco and MS Windows based LAN and WANs. Maintain responsibility for deriving system level requirements from architectural guidelines and project objectives. Analyze detailed designs with supporting implementation, test, and transition plans. Maintain responsibility for ushering proposed system changes through the configuration management process to implement for transition to the O and M RBA teams. Support the IT service organization for a client based at Redstone Arsenal. This position is located in Huntsville, AL.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:-8 years of experience with IT-5 years of experience with design and deployment of Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls, internal and external routing protocols, layer 2 protocols, multicast, local and long haul data transmission mediums, including RS-530, TI, and OC-x, SONET, Type I encryption devices, and network timing system-Ability to obtain a security clearance-BA or BS degree-Security+, Security Certified Network Professional (SCNP), Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification

Additional Qualifications:-MS degree-Secret clearance preferred
