JOB DESCRIPTION:
The candidate's activities will include performing software analysis, design and development according to existing coding standards and guidelines. Candidate will interpret and analyze requirements obtained/derived from customer; review, verify and/or validate system specifications and other design-related documentation. Candidate's primary goal will be the development of documented, reliable, well-tested, extensible and maintainable code.

Qualifications:

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline is required and 5+ years of experience.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Strong skills in WPF and related tools. Candidate must have the ability to design, develop, debug and test software in C#. Candidate must have a strong understanding of Object Oriented development.

KEY AREAS OF EXPERTISE:
(1) Developing for DirectShow, MPEG2, MPEG4, or other digital video transport applications
(2) Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF)

CLEARANCE:
US Citizenship and a Secret Clearance is required for this position.

DESIRED SKILLS:
.NET, Sockets, XML, Unit Testing, Multithreaded development, UML, SVN. Cyber Security experience a plus. Experience developing for DirectShow, MPEG2, MPEG4, or other digital video transport applications experience a plus.
