The selected candidate will be a member of a highly

motivated team responsible for the analyzing and solving of complex problems utilizing effective mathematical algorithms and toolsets. Assists in incorporating mathematical solutions for the customer. Collaborates with architect and senior staff software engineers in ensuring quality products. Supervise and/or direct others.

Required Skills: The ideal candidate will possess an in-depth knowledge of mathematical understanding of munitions trajectory, terrain considerations, aero/fluid dynamics and energy calculations, imagery characteristic association, and collision avoidance. Candidate should possess prior leadership and communication skills. Candidate should be able to interface with the customer and effectively gather and ascertain system requirements for introduction into research and development cycles. As a lead, requirements would be communicated to the R&D team for tasking.

Desired Skills: Basic software engineering concepts should be understood: object-oriented programming and design, software configuration management, unit testing, validation. Software tools and developer environment experience a plus, including Subversion, Visual Studio, Eclipse, MatLab, Android Developer Tools, Windows OS, Linux OS, Android OS.

Education Requirement:

Bachelor's degree in a related field is required. 8+ years of related experience is required.
