Description:

In support of the Army Game Studio, the Systems and Technology Solutions (S&TS) Business Unit of SAIC, Inc. in Huntsville, Alabama is currently looking for an amazing User Interface Designer for their mobile apps team. The UI Designer will transform highly complex concepts and requirements into app interfaces that are easy to use and understand. He/she will need to apply superior visual design craftsmanship, design beautiful icons, and anticipate user needs.

Visual Design:

-Design beautiful product icons

-Create unique product designs

-Deliver detailed art assets for prototypes and shippable apps

Interaction Design:

-Wireframe, storyboard, prototype, test and recommend improvements

-Work with development teams to ensure a superb user experience

-Work with project managers to develop and iterate design mockups, user stories, and other design documents

Qualifications:
Qualifications:

-A portfolio that can be viewed online and/or demoed in person

-Creative, smart, and able to work in a team environment

-3-5 years of professional work experience

-Incredible eye for layout, color and typography

-Experience with both web and mobile UI design

-Ability to rapidly execute hi-fidelity mockups with a strong attention to detail and usability.

Degree required: Minimum of a BA in graphic design, human-computer interaction, interaction design, or related field.

Bonus Points

-Full knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.

-Experience with video editing

-Experience using Agile development methods

-Expert knowledge in user experience principles, graphic design principles, and web standards.
