Software Engineer - ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server Software Engineer We are a Technology Solutions Company that has an excellent niche in the service and hospitality industry. What you need for this position:
- 2-4 years of experience as a senior database or operationsengineer with emphasis on support and development of high availabilityinternet environments working with other software engineers and product management organizations.
- 3-5 years of experiences within a Microsoft Windows-based operational environment and proficiency owning, configuring, and developing upon Microsoft SQL Server databases.
- Detailed knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server deployment, replication, migration, reporting, and ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for large-scale OLTP and data warehouse systems.
- 2-4 years of Microsoft .NET (C#, ASP.NET) software development, preferably owning customer-facing products for two or more release cycles.
- Ability to comprehend, analyze and research problems of a complex nature, make judgment decisions and recommendations as to the solution, including defending those proposals with your peers.
- Proficiency in software development technologies such as Windows PowerShell, MSBuild, Team Foundation Server (TFS), Team Build, and/or System Center (MOM/SCOM) greatly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a peer group of software engineers.
What you'll be doing:
- Develop and own ensuring that the deployed product is supportable, and that troubleshooting is easily handled. You'll own the development for our product's "operationalization."
- Define, estimate, and plan the implementation of new functional product features.
-Build and help deploy hotfixes, patches, and product upgrades in conjunction with the engineering and operational/infrastructure team.
- Execute crisply on coding within .NET/C#, ASP.NET, Microsoft SQL Server/T-SQL, ETL/SSIS data processing,and other technologies leveraged by our products.
- Provide technical leadership within your knowledge domain, as well as be a thought leader in operational excellence to the greater organization.
