Description:

SAIC is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join our team in O'Fallon IL.

The Business Systems Analyst will function as part of SAIC and AF Team working lead command support at the Air Force Network Integration Center (AFNIC) for AF implementation of MS Exchange and Active Directory services. As Lead Command, AFNIC is responsible for coordinating efforts through guidance and policy direction to insure the successful implementation of the program. AFNIC is responsible for an advocacy and requirements role on behalf of the AF MAJCOMs working in coordination with those MAJCOMs and the CITS Program Management Office (PMO) at Electronic Systems Command. SAIC provides the support needed in strategic communications and information planning, requirements analysis, information assurance, technical expertise, sustainment, and program management. Position will be key part of migration team and will travel extensively as migration teams implement AD and Exchange AF wide.

The Systems Analyst will travel to migrating locations prior to migrations as needed to support pre-migration actions; remains on-site throughout migration actions; remains onsite to support post migration actions. (Travel to be up to 70%). Provide Prep-work for upcoming migrations to include planning, updating training material, coordination with base level counterparts, obtaining facility access, etc. Will provide migration training to local support personnel in preparation for an ADX (Active Directory and Exchange) migration. will function as both the lead support technician and liaison; direct the local support personnel in issue resolution during the migration; Support the base level Comm Focal Point (CFP) as migration advisor; Act as SME at the user interface level for systems such as Blackberry/Goodlink, Outlook, Active Directory permissions, small computer system hardware, software, operating systems, peripherals, network connections, and configurations. Directly assists migrating sites with completing pre-migration preparation tasks as required. Capturing lessons learned at the base level to develop improvements in checklists and processes. Support business process improvement by incorporating lessons learned from previous migrations. keep local & team leadership apprised of migration status.

Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience OR Associates degree and 6 years' experience or High School Diploma and 8 years of general experience.

- US Citizen with ability to obtain a SECRET clearance.

- Exceptional writing ability, strong customer relations skills and overall communications skills are mandatory.

- DOD Computer Operations and maintenance or engineering experience.

- Experience with relevant MS technologies to include Active Directory and MS exchange.

- Must have familiarity, working knowledge and recent experience with Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory.

Desired Education and Experience:

Operations and maintenance or engineering with Air Force systems and infrastructure and CITS program highly desirable; CCNA or equivalent level certification is highly desirable. Project management experience and experience managing system requirements and program acquisition requirements is highly desirable. This position requires the ability to have access to classified materials. Active Secret Clearance desired.
