Data Center/Infrastructure Manager

Client in the Westchester/Brookfield area is seeking a Data Center/Infrastructure Manager for their IT area.  This position reports directly to the CEO and will be a very hands on role.  This position will involve managerial activities, continuous hands on network setup/support/tweaking, documentation, change management, Disaster Recovery testing/procedures, documentation, help desk support, long term strategic initiatives, as well as regular team and C-Level meetings.

Environment includes the following technologies:

- Linus Red Hat, Open Source, Cloud, VMWare ESX, Cisco, OpenVPN, Checkpoint, MySQL, LDAP, Apache, Dell et al

Requirements:

- Background of hands on network and Infrastructure setup and support including LAN/WAN, SAN/NAS, Cloud, VMware
- Linux and Open Source experience is Required
- Experience with Disaster Recovery, contingency planning, documentation, network engineering, Servers, capacity planning, migrations and buildouts, as well as vendor support and department roadmapping  and team management
- MySQL and ITIL experience a big plus
