About the Opportunity
Rapid growth has created an opportunity for a talented Email/Web developer at Aspen Marketing Services, one of New York's most respected integrated marketing agencies. You will work on a variety of clients, both B2C and B2B, in a number of industries, with projects that primarily encompass email development and more. You'll enjoy working with an efficient, award-winning team in a fast-paced agency culture.

The Developer will be expected to work on a broad range of projects, and must have very strong HTML development and implementation skills with email-related applications, an understanding of database design and management, usage of mobile/wireless, and rich media applications.

Responsibilities
* Work with designers to develop emails and web pages in Dreamweaver (front-end development)
* Performing quality assurance (QA) testing on new and existing emails and pages
* Adhering to email development best practices and ongoing changes in the interactive development space
* Uploading email templates to third-party ESP's and generating scripts, as required
* Proper technical documentation of performed work
* Working closely with the interactive team to meet deadlines

Qualifications
1-3+ years solid experience with;

* HTML
* Inline CSS
* Basic Photoshop skills
* Ability to hand code in the above languages
* Basic understanding of any other Scripting language
* College degree or equivalent work experience

While not necessary, these wouldn't hurt:

* Average to deep knowledge of email marketing best practices
* Experience with third-party email service provider systems (eg ExactTarget, Responsys, DREAM)
* HTML5 and emerging standards
* @media and CSS3
* Perl
* Freemarker
* Javascript
* AJAX
* Server-side scripting, PHP, ASP, .NET, Ruby or ColdFusion
* Client service skill a plus
