Sr. Systems Admin Specialist

85-100k plus bonus

No third party resumes (we do not work on C2C basis with other vendors)

Major firm is seeking a highly skilled and experience Systems Admin to support over Middleware and other business applications.

Responsibilities:

• Deploy updates, enhancements and new system functionality
• Liaison with appropriate teams for the development of corrective actions or viable workarounds to resolve incidents.
• Respond to automated alerts on the systems
• Operational maintenance and monitoring of applications.
• Perform testing to validate accuracy and validity of reports and data integrity
• Develop test scripts and plans and lead testing efforts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• 5 years. experience supporting a variety of business applications and functions which include production and operations support and product development
• Experience working with offshore teams
• Experience with Enterprise applications running on IIS 6.0/7.0
• Experience with .NET applications/IIS Server/WebSphere/Weblogic
• Experience supporting and maintaining packaged applications systems
• Knowledge of windows 2000/2003/2008 server O/S
• General understanding of networking/LAN/WAN/DMZ concepts
• Knowledge of troubleshooting tools and techniques  related to network and systems
• Understanding of n-tier application architecture concepts
• General knowledge of SQL 2000 and SQL 2005/2008
• Familiarity with database concepts, data extraction and reporting.
