Major fortune 500 company is seeking a VMware/Windows Engineer with strong Vmware, Windows, Disaster recovery, automated tools and Scripting with powershell, VB, server blade technology, HP, Cisco, and Dell.
Responsibilities:
- Acquisition, configuration, testing, implementation and troubleshooting data networking system to support all aspects of the day to day operations.
- Oversees activities as part of a project involved in the research, design, planning, development and or evaluation of a technology strategy and tools.
- Assists with current situation assessments of infrastructure architecture, benchmarks standards to industry, and assists with creation of future infrastructure technology.
- Plans and implements enterprise-wide infrastructure technology projects
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years. experience in IT with Vmware and MS Windows.
- Experience with business server environments (HP Blades, CISCO blades, Dell blades, etc.)
- Windows server engineer experience
- General knowledge of infrastructure technology, Client Server applications and data architecture.
- Knowledge and experience with DR solutions.
- Powershell and VB Scripting experience.
