We†re a growing team looking for a Director of User Experience to be responsible for creating a great user experience across all of our offerings through the use of research, design, and testing.
What you need for this position:
- Demonstrated experience conducting user research and translating user research into design decisions
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Sciences, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Psychology, Sociology, Human Factors, Business or related discipline from accredited university
- 5 years relevant industry experience (B2B experience preferred)
- Must have excellent analytical ability, especially in observing user behavior and identifying key problems that need to be addressed
- Broad understanding of Front End development aspects for software and systems
What you'll be doing:
- Team building - build our UX capacity through relationships with schools and studios, recruit & hire top talent
- Practice management - build the skills needed to meet our product & platform goals
- Process management - define and implement the right level of process rigor as we grow
- Drive the research cycle - work closely with Product Management and Academic Services to select and execute research projects
- Participate in agile collaborative R&D - work closely with Dev and Product Management to deliver great product based on solid UXD
- Advise leadership through research findings and UX advocacy
- Represent us in the UX community
