Position Summary:

Healthcare reimbursement consultant with experience in Medicare cost reports (wage index, Medicare bad debts, DSH, IME/GME). Previous experience in consulting, hospital reimbursement or MAC is required.

- Prepare a hospital Medicare cost report and work with the MAC during audit with any issues
- Perform in depth wage index reviews for cost report filings and wage index updates
- Assist in third party audits
- Assist in monthly close functions
- Assist with additional complex regulatory functions as necessary

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

- Must have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
- 3-5 years healthcare consulting, hospital or MAC experience
- Must have a solid reputation and references with previous clients, contacts, partners, etc.
- Strong organizational, time management and analytical skills.
- Ability to work overtime
- Positive and professional attitude; motivated and proactive
