Senior Java Developer

Yoh has two (2) contract opportunities for a Senior Java Developers to join our client in Indianapolis, IN.

Job Overview:

The Senior Developer will analyze requirements, design, develop and work within an Oracle ADF development team to deliver custom application enhancements.

Job Responsibilities:
- Delivery of Oracle ADF custom application enhancements using full life cycle methodologies.
- Creation of ADF development best practices and coding standards.
- Act as a subject matter expert for Oracle ADF and WebLogic.
- Troubleshoot defects and perform system analysis to provide a means for solving technical and business-related problems/challenges or implement code-based performance improvements.
- Work directly with IT personnel to discuss changes and challenges with integrations on internal applications.
- Facilitate and coordinate change management, issue management, problem escalation and resolution.
- Must have good customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, team oriented environment.

Job Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree is a plus, preferably in Computer Science, MIS, or CIS.
- Seven (7 +) years' experience in Information Technology, specific to application development and support is required.
- Four (4+) year's development experience with Oracle ADF and Java.
- Four (4+) years' experience with full development life cycle.
- Three (3+) years' experience with WebLogic server.
- Experience with the following:
- Linux (Red Hat)
- Oracle RDBMS: 10g/11g
- Toad, SQL
- Plus, Web-ADI
- Oracle database programming experience is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem solving, analytical and decision making skills.
- Ability to work in a multi-developer, team environment.
- Acquire and utilizes business knowledge by taking advantage of available resources (Internet, books, periodicals, classes/workshops, conferences, etc.) to develop and foster business expertise solutions.
