Responsibilities

Specific Responsibilities:

The Sr Oracle Financial Systems Analyst will report to Shared Services Finance Manager and is responsible for Oracle EPM/Hyperion support working with the Finance teams on business processes and interacting with the IT team on maintenance and implementation. The analyst will also be supporting tasks related to the Shared Services Finance team.

Specific Responsibilities:
- Work with Finance teams and document and analyze current and future state business processes.
- Translate Finance business processes to IT requirements and work with IT to implement.
- Monitor that project deliverables are met according to specifications and plans.
- Raises and tracks issues and conflicts, removes project barriers, resolves project issues and escalates to senior management where required.
- Create training materials and deliver training.
- Support the Shared Services Finance team with the quarterly financial reporting, annual strategic plan, annual operating plan, monthly forecasting, monthly metrics reporting, as well as other ad hoc requests.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science or equivalent degree is required.
- 3-7 year's professional experience as a finance business/systems analyst.
- 3+ year's experience with Financial information systems - General Ledger, Project Accounting, Human Resources Management, etc.
- 3+ year's experience with Enterprise Performance Management information systems - experience with Oracle/Hyperion EPM is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in business process development and improvement.
- Experience in eliciting and documenting requirements resulting in quality deliverables with limited direction.
- Knowledge of financial budgeting and forecasting.
- Knowledge of accounting procedures and techniques.
- Proficiency with Excel is critical. Proficiency with MS Access is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills, interpersonal and relationship management skills.
- Detail oriented, team player and desire to learn is important.
