Responsibilities

NCS Pearson, Inc. seeks a Software Developer in Iowa City, Iowa to develop software technology for multinational customers using a variety of technology platforms, including Enterprise/Web technologies and Mobile technologies. Responsible for development activities and results from commitment through software implementation. Ensure the effective delivery of software by providing end-to-end guidance from solution design and requirement through the development cycle to final customer acceptance. Coordinate software delivery and/or product development efforts.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent degree as determined by written evaluation in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering and 5 years progressive post-baccalaureate experience performing customer management, project management, or new product development for international education and publishing industries using Enterprise/Web technologies, Mobile technologies, Java, J2EE, CMS, Oracle, JBoss, Weblogic, CVS, Ant, Struts, and Hibernate. Experience may be concurrent.

Alternatively, we accept a Master's Degree or foreign equivalent degree as determined by written evaluation in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering and 2 years of experience performing customer management, project management, or new product development for international education and publishing industries using Enterprise/Web technologies, Mobile technologies, Java, J2EE, CMS, Oracle, JBoss, Weblogic, CVS, Ant, Struts, and Hibernate. Experience may be concurrent.
