We are seeking a Director of software development, responsible for directing and managing our engineers along with aiding in the architecture, design and development of our software. Candidates must be a technical leader with the ability to balance writing software and management in order to ensure the team's success.
Day to day responsibilities:
- Set goals, objectives, and direction of the development team
- Deliver superior performance, profitable results and operational excellence
- Manage product direction, drive execution and collaboration between various departments
- Increase efficiency and process for optimal results
- Create a culture of passion for technology where technical discussions are ongoing and new technologies are continually leveraged
Must have skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in C.S., Engineering or a related discipline
- 10+ years of development experience
- 5+ years of technical leadership in launching complex consumer products
- Current hands on expertise in a PHP/Magento/MySQL E-commerce environment
- Expert at product Architecture
- Team management for meeting deliverables and deadlines
