- Must have experience in a Security Operations Center reacting and responding to cyber threats.
- Understanding and experience with adversaries' motivations, techniques, tools and procedures through the kill chain.

- Ability and experience in the analysis and identify relationships and trends between incidents in the short term and patterns across incidents in the long term.

- Experience with the following SOC Analyst tools; SIEM, FireEye Web, FireEye Mail, Norman G2, Flows, Full Packet Capture, Websense, WAF's.

- Experience setting up and maintaining a malware analysis laboratory to conduct reverse engineering for known and suspected malware files including Norman Malware Analyzer.

- Proficient with forensic techniques and the most commonly used cyber forensic toolsets, such as Mandiant or Encase. Perform volatile and dynamic analysis.

- Conduct network intrusion investigations and implement protective measures. Demonstrate how the data shall be used to reconstruct past network events relevant to the intrusion, and potentially identify portions of the malicious activity that were missed by IDS systems and incident analysis. This analysis shall be used to identify the full scope of the intrusion event.

- Experience documenting processes and/or creating formal reports (technical writing skills)

- The preferred candidate will have hands-on experience in computer network defense, vulnerability assessment, cyber threat analysis and all-source intelligence analysis; knowledge of IP routing and transfer protocols.
