Monitor all phases of testing in SAP
Work with QA manager to define project-specific test processes
Test planning, managing test execution, monitoring and reporting progress against plan
Coordinating with functional teams belonging to Sales, Operations, HR, and Finance to resolve defects and ensuring that proper test result documentation and processes are followed as per the test strategy
Report on test status and raise test-related risks
Monitor and work with SAP testing team which includes both employee and vendor on-shore/off-shore resources
Assist in organizing, assigning and managing defect lifecycle
Perform initial analysis of defects identified during the testing cycle and escalate issues as required to ensure defects are closed within the required timeframe
Develop and implement strategy to automate SAP functional testing with a long term goal of reducing the amount of time required to execute and ultimately the number of resources required for execution
Develop a SAP performance testing strategy and work with BASIS team
Develop a SAP batch job testing strategy using batch scheduling tool
Make decisions on what type of test cases need to be added to the automated regression testing tool and make sure they get implemented by coordinating with the QA manager
Manage test plans for different applications/projects and maintain them as functional changes are made to the systems
Configure and manage testing tools
Partner with the Production Support and Project Support teams to ensure that test scripts are developed or modified to cover new functionality and/or enhancements that are introduced into the production system on an ongoing basis
Analyze defects identified in production system to ensure that the proper controls are implemented in the regression test bed to ensure that the defect does not occur in production again
Adapt to the needs of the group to coordinate testing for a project

Job Requirements 10+ years of QA testing experience
5+ years of test lead experience
7+ years of SAP testing experience
Hands on experience with tools
o HP QC/ALM
o HP QTP
o HP BPT
o SAP TAO
o HP LoadRunner
o SAP Solution Manager
HP QC customized reporting
Strong leadership skills, verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, and inter-personal skills
Extremely detail-oriented and organized
Strong at multi-tasking and prioritizing activities to meet the project needs
Excellent background in foundational concepts of testing
Recent experience in creating test strategy, test plan and test cases for a SAP implementations project
Experience in SAP implementation methodology
Experience with methodologies including, but not limited to Agile, RUP, or Waterfall
Ability to work independently
A deep understanding of delivery challenges related to testing
A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
Good to have:
Experience in CPS Redwood
Experience in SAP ChARM
Experience in SAP TDMS
Experience in Worksoft Certify
Experience using service virtualization tools such as ITKO LISA
Monitoring tools - SiteScope, Willy
Experience in Microsoft Test Manager
Testing and tool certifications
Experience with enterprise applications such as Siebel, PeopleSoft, Oracle, and Salesforce
