ROLE As the Mid-Level Java Developer, you will be handling the full life cycle development/SDLC of new features for a very large financial reporting platform. You will gather requirements from end users to design, develop, and implement solutions. You will also be expected to document solutions; provide technical support for the application after implementation, and provide oversight and guidance/mentorship to junior developers on the project.

This team engages in heavy global coordination, and heavy user interaction to define requirements with the changing regulatory landscape (the rules are very "dynamic"). Due to the changing regulatory environment, this team follows the Agile methodology. Our client also engages in a lot of test-driven development to ensure they are capturing the essence of the business problem.

The current architecture is multi-tiered with large memory caches. The existing frameworks are easy to train up on and develop in.

REQUIRED
2-3 years of Java programming and RDBMS for Mid-Level Developers
SDLC Project life cycle experience, including requirements gathering, software development, system testing, production rollout, and post-implementation support
Excellent problem-solving skills - this is central to your success here
