Senior Network Engineer/Architect

Outstanding opportunity to join this highly visible financial services company to handle design, architecture, strategy, and network engineering. Additional duties will include 3rd level network support as well as a strong general focus on VPN, Firewall, and security design and support. Also will assist in developing best practices in security and network environments.

Qualified candidates MUST have:

Bachelor's degree - a MUST! - and 6+ years network connectivity support with strong LAN/WAN troubleshooting background including Firewalls and security

TCP/IP strength including routing protocols, VPN, NAT, etc.

- Design/architecture experience as well as hands-on engineer background

- Configuration of Cisco Router and switch platforms experience including creation and deployment of complex software configurations

Plusses:

CISSP Checkpoint/Juniper/Palo Alto Firewalls administration experience.

Project management Financial services industry experience.
