DataStage Analyst

VEDICSOFT SOLUTIONS INC. has multiple DataStage Analyst positions available in Iselin NJ. (M-F 9am-6pm 40 hrs/wk) Duties: Design, develop, document & test software code according to business reqts & to integrate & support appl. software using tools as DataStage, QualityStage, Quality Center, Unix, Linux, SOL, DB2 Visualizer. Modify existing software to correct errors, to adapt it to new hardware, or to upgrade interfaces & improve performance. Develop Shell Scripts to automate file manipulation & data loading procedures. Perform fine tuning, troubleshooting, bug fixing & defect analysis in DataStage Jobs. Work w/business analyst to validate ETL specs & to create mapping docs. Plan, coordinate & implement security measures to safeguard info. in comp. files against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification or disclosure. Travel/reloc.to various unanticipated locations to interact with clients & train end users for various short & long term assignments. Req: Master's degree/equiv in Comp Engr, Elec Engr or related.
