The Engineer/Technologist will demonstrate leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes for an area or business segment. In this role, you will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.
Essential Responsibilities:
The individual will be responsible for the design and development of Embedded software in high frequency, Embedded controllers for aerospace products.
In addition, you will:
Use sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product/program requirements Develop FPGA hardware & firmware incorporating DSP algorithms Develop FPGA based digital control and interface functions Used PC based FPGA development tools Develop complex digital PCB designs interfacing FPGAs with external DDS, AtoD and Microprocessor circuits Perform P-Spice and VHDL simulations as appropriate to validate digital and analog hardware Identify and perform appropriate validation testing for breadboard and prototype circuits Support and present internal and customer design reviews Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments Support system integration with other component design and project engineers Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with Software focus Minimum of 1 year of experience in design and development of Embedded software design for Microcontroller applications with experience with Microcontroller, analog, and digital circuitry design Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
