Job Description: Sr. Business Analyst

This position will be working for a strategic client of CGI in the Corporate and Investment Banking Industry in Jersey City

Scope of the project involves strategic development and enhancements to the platforms supporting Securities Lending and Prime Brokerage domain. This includes new functionalities, regulatory projects. Project is executed in a global delivery model including business center in NY, offshore team and other team members located globally.

Main Accountabilities

- Primary tasks include but are not limited to:

- A hands-on senior business analyst possessing strong experience in Securities Lending, Prime Brokerage and capital markets business

- Study and analyze business functions, process requirements

- The individual will work with Business IT organization and needs to manage business client expectations within a time-to-market and dynamic environment

- Coordinating solution workshops, document requirements with sponsors and acquire signoffs.

- It is critical that this individual has a proven track record working in above mentioned domains to perform business functions analysis, document requirements and coordinate with technical staff to deliver technology solutions.

- Need to have good analytical skills and should be able to define the BRDs(Business requirement documents)

- Need to have good ability to understand the systems and provide the impacted functional spec

- Will be working along with the QA team to help them understand the changes and come with testing scenarios.

- Should be able to guide the development team in coming with design & solution document

- Should be very good in communication and be able to work independently

- Corporate Brokerage domain experience is preferred.

- More than 8 years of experience as BA/PM with good knowledge in Capital Markets, Prime Brokerage and Securities Lending

- Experience and knowledge on various Regulatory Environment, Industry practices, regulatory environment eg Dodd Frank

- Excellent communication and written skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities, commitments and projects
