Senior Java Developer:

This technical position will be working for a strategic client of CGI in the Corporate and Investment Banking Industry in Jersey City, NJ.

Scope of the project involves development services in the prime Brokerage Securities Lending and Equities Domain. This includes new functionalities, regulatory projects and other enhancements. Project is executed in a global delivery model including business center in NY, offshore team and other stakeholders located globally:

Sr. Java/J2EE developer using Web logic
- Development on Weblogic platform (Development of Application Server and portal)

- Hands on Java and j2ee (Must be excellent in EJB, Web services and Core java)

- Must understand server side caching (Database caching)

- Should have experience in troubleshooting Weblogic issues

- Should have directly worked with clients and must possess excellent communication skills

- Must have excellent analytical capability

- Must have Object Oriented programming experience

- Must have implemented design pattern

- Must have hands on knowledge on Weblogic Application Server internals

- Must have implemented Enterprise patterns

- Must be hands on knowledge on Middleware and messaging technologies used in Weblogic

- Must be hands on knowledge on internals clustering of Weblogic Application Server and thorough knowledge on high availability

- Must have hands on knowledge on internals of resources (connections, JNDI etc..) in Weblogic application server

Experience with the following is a plus:
- Knowledge of Weblogic administration (application server and portal)

- Knowledge of investment banking

- Knowledge of raising tickets to Oracle in case needed to resolve Weblogic issues. This would be really a good to have skill.
