Sr. Technical Analyst

The role is for detail oriented hands on functional specialist, who will lead several front to back initiatives in OTC derivative team. It is desired that the candidate should have technology background and project management experience.

Team is responsible for delivering the global platform for Rate, Credit and FX, enabling OTC derivative clearing and complying with Dodd Frank, MIFID and EMIR regulations.

Responsibilities and Requirements

- Excellent understanding of OTC Derivatives Rates, Credit and FX products, pricing, risk and clearing workflows.

- Detailed understanding of CCP (LCH, ICE, CME, Eurex) clearing data feeds and interfaces, ie, IM, VM, Cashflows, Fee and Reference data.

- Experience with connectivity to CCPs, Affirmation Platforms and SEFs.

- Understanding Clearing workflows including consent, margin, collateral reconciliation and settlements.

- Detailed understanding of CCP product offering and risk and margin methodologies.

- Strong knowledge of databases and experience working with very large integrated IT systems.

- Lead platform expansion for CCPs in US, Europe and Asia Pacific for Client and Dealer clearing. This includes change management for existing CCPs, integration with new CCPs, addition of regulation mandated products and major market changes.

- Responsible for the overall platform strategy, project prioritization, time/cost estimation, detailed business/functional analysis and resource allocation.

- Drive planning, prioritization and collaboration with key stakeholders in Front offices, Operations and Technology through clear and concise communication.

- Experience working with the CCPs (CME, LCH, ICE) and have working relationship .Cultivate and maintain key relationships with CCPs and represent Deutsche Bank in industry forums/working groups.

- Supervise a team of project managers, functional analysts
Essential Skills Required

Required:

- Subject matter expert OTC Derivative Clearing for Rates, Credit and FX

- Understanding of Central Counterparty Service Offering and the Data for CME, LCH, ICE

- Understanding of Connectivity to CCP, Affirmation Platforms and SEF.

- Understanding Clearing workflows including consent, margin, collateral reconciliation and settlement.

- Ability to understand client. Operations and front office business requirement

- Experience working with the CCPs (CME, LCH, ICE) and have working relationship.

- Technology background is required. Strong knowledge of databases and experience working with very large IT systems.

- Experience working with the large investment banks.

- Experience with project and resource management and prioritization of Book of Work.
