Key Role:
Serve as the lead network engineer engage stakeholders to identify network and LAN/WAN requirements in support of local and distributed exercises. Plan network topology and provide planning support across sites to pre-coordinate issue resolution to mitigate production challenges. Lead and coordinate resources on network, server, and desktop teams to ensure resources and capabilities are available for multiple event timelines. Manage and configure network and security devices and computer operating systems to support events. Serve as the lead for activities and communicate for the group during stakeholder meetings. Troubleshoot and resolve network and system related issues during exercises and events. Provide documentation and configuration details to support periodic network accreditation. This position is located in Fort Leavenworth, KS.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications-3+ years of experience with managing, configuring LAN/WAN environments, and using CISCO network and security devices-3+ years of experience with planning network and computing and device requirements in support of long term and short turn LAN/WAN configuration requirements-Experience with coordinating between IS and server administrators in support of operations-Ability to lead and coordinate resources in response to requirements-Security+, CISSP, or similar Certification-Secret clearance

Additional Qualifications-Knowledge of unclassified and classified network operations-Knowledge of Defense and Army security regulations, including DIACAP-BA or BS degree in CS or related field-CCNA or equivalent network Certification

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
