Role Summary/Purpose: GE is an equal opportunity employer, offering a great work environment, challenging career opportunities, professional training and competitive compensation.The Sales Manager will be responsible for discovery of sales opportunities, selection and presentation of Controls and Excitation Solutions to end user customers in the Southern Region (Sales Market segments include Hydro, Gas and Steam Turbine Power Generation and Compression Applications in Utility, Municipality, Paper, Refining, Petrochemical, and other Industrial Facilities).
Essential Responsibilities: In addition, you will:
Provide technical and commercial support to Power Services and Industrial Sales Managers in the Southern Region as required
Assist in proposal preparation and delivery, provide technical information and process other customer requests for controls information
Be responsible for a predefined dollar amount of control solution orders, sales, and contribution margin within existing installed base of rotating equipment Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Rotating Equipment, DCS Systems or Power Plant EquipmentELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Ability and willingness to travel overnight up to 50% of the time, as required Additional Eligibility Qualifications: GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening.
