Description

Key Role:
Assess, recommend, and assist with the implementation of automated test tools and strategies. Design, implement, and conduct test and evaluation procedures to ensure system requirements are met, develop, maintain, and upgrade automated test scripts and architectures for application products, write, implement, and report status of system test cases for testing, analyze test cases, and provide regular progress reports. Serve as a subject matter specialist, applying testing knowledge for the support of user requirements in complex to highly complex software and hardware applications, direct and participate in all phases of risk management assessments and software and hardware development with an emphasis on analysis of user requirements, test design, and test tools selection, and implement testing strategies for multiple and concurrent projects. Lead test plan and test case walkthroughs, investigate defects, perform regressing testing, develop artifacts, including the traceability Matrix and test cases, participate in requirements sessions, produce quality reports, and communicate progress. This position is located in Kansas City, MO.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:-5+ years of experience with testing software and implementing test strategies-Experience with managing project schedules, using Microsoft Project-Experience with testing tools, including SQL, JUnit, Hudson, JaMon, JIRA, and HP Quality Center-Knowledge of Agile test methodology-Knowledge of Microsoft Office-Ability to obtain a security clearance-BA or BS degree required

Additional Qualifications:-Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a complex and dynamic environment-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills-Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills-BA or BS degree in Information Systems, CS, Engineering, or Business preferred
