Job Purpose:

The SAP Team Manager is the person responsible for providing functional/technical leadership across multiple SAP modules such as FI/CO, SD, MM, PP, WM and QM with a strong focus on FI/CO. This role uses project management, business knowledge, and solution expertise to ensure their team is effectively meeting the business*s needs. In this role they will understand, establish and manage the scope & quality of the areas of their responsibility and mentor/coach the team. The SAP Team Manager is expected to provide guidance for design alternatives; communicate with his/her team and across other functional & technical teams of the project; surfacing, documenting & resolving issues in a timely basis & setting expectations for area of responsibility and establishing priorities within IT when conflicts arise. This position requires a broad range of skills and the ability to step in different roles depending on the size and scope of the project/engagement.

Accountabilities:
* Overall responsibility to deliver support services, project as well as support business initiatives for all aspects of SAP with a strong focus on SAP Finance Modules
* Contributes to overall strategic vision and integrates a broad range of ideas regarding SAP implementations and support.
* Excellent business process analysis and redesign experience; business analytical problem solving skills as well as the ability to quickly identify problems and recommend solutions
* Be a trusted advisor, helping the business make better, informed decisions by presenting relevant SAP solution alternatives for key challenges; evaluate business and system impact of proposed changes
* Confidently and assertively liaisons with business users and senior leadership
* Lead and partner with multiple business units in a service provider environment of continuous change
* Manage day to day work of SAP Team including managing to SLA*s; work with Technical Lead to prioritize and manage development tasks and resources
* Administers/supports third-party products
* Maintain Application Controls in support of Sarbanes Oxley and Audit Requirements
* Facilitate implementation and use of the Companies Group IT engagement model, project methodology and compliance framework.
* Work with Hosting provider as the primary point of contact, handling all communications, requests, updates, etc. and communicating information to appropriate personnel
* Responsible for all general communications to the users and interested parties, including system down, system speed, system outages, and other as necessary.
* Approve transports in the SAP landscape and assist with R/3 security & authorization implementation; overall responsibility of SAP landscape
* Engage in other assignments as requested by IT management.

Requirements:
* Bachelor*s degree in business or computer science
* 5-10 years of experience managing integrated software systems including configuration experience
* Strong knowledge of Finance/Accounting business processes and SAP FI/CO with working knowledge of SD, MM, PP, WM and their integration with FI/CO
* Experience with CO Profitability Analysis preferred
* Experience partnering with management and staff in a team based environment
* Work independently and in cooperation with others on multiple activities, with flexibility to manage competing demands and changing priorities
* Completed at least 3 full life cycle SAP implementations
* Broad understanding of SAP both from technical and functional perspective
* Track record of managing maintenance and support for an application
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong relationship management skills
* Excellent program management and business process, development and implementation skills
* Ability to work effectively in a geographically dispersed team across multiple time zones
* Must be energetic, polished, customer-service oriented and adaptable to ongoing change
* CPA a plus
* PMI certification a plus
* Travel 25-30% based on project/business requirements
