Link Technologies is seeking a Sr. Interval Data Analyst for a six month contract with a utility company in Las Vegas, NV.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports customer care organization by administrating all major customer Interval Data databases and systems.
  • Manages the upgrade and acquisition of these and other related systems.
  • Responsible for coordinating special projects relative to project timelines, resource allocation and budget requirements.
  • Coordinates responses to non-routine internal and external information requests.
  • Researches and responds to inquiries from management, regulators, and other entities as required. Manages development of new tariff requirements from meter program development through Interval Data handling through to Banner billing system.
  • Maintain Interval databases MV90 (South) and Lodestar (North and South). Operate and maintain applications and systems relating to all interval data, load research and billing systems including PC., Mainframe and Oracle.
  • Conduct services and products analysis from a variety of internal and external sources. Monitor and coordinate outside vendors related to project requirements, including cost controls, price negotiations, statements or work, licenses and contract documents. Communicate recommendations and results through concise written reports and/or verbal presentations.
  • Develop comprehensive test plans to ensure technology solutions support business requirements. Work with IT department and vendors during the development, construction and implementation cycles. Provide departmental project management during the implementation process when deploying new system technologies, system upgrades, meter protocols/program upgrades and business process changes across interval data and Banner Billing systems.
  • Coordinate and prepare non-routine data requests in all forms (eg Crystal Reports, softcopy, completed studies, separate databases, load research, etc.). Extract, compile, query, analyze, interpret and report data and/or recommend research studies that meet internal and external customer needs.
  • Responsible for development and documentation of Interval Data business and billing tariff procedures and processes. Prepare functional reference guides to support user training and definition of new procedures and practices. Troubleshoot Interval Data/Billing system problems and issues as well as coordinate resolutions with appropriate parties.
  • Coordinate activities with cross-functional teams to facilitate proper definition and understanding of business and tariff requirements. Manage special tariff accounts from tariff interpretation to process/system development through to implementation and reporting.
  • Provide training, direction, and guidance to Analysts, Interval Data utilizing both internal and/or external sources.

REQUIREMENTS
Experience with SQL Database query and reporting, programming and Scripting.
