Link Technologies is looking for the ideal Storage Engineer for our client located in Las Vegas, Nevada. Ideal candidates will have a strong background gather requirements, support Storage Infrastructure including, but not limited to technologies from HP (LeftHand), EMC (CLARiiON, Equalogic iSCSI), 3Par (F and V Series), NetApp NAS/SAN and Brocade/Cisco Fiber Switches.
The engineer will provide services as the primary storage engineer assigned to customer accounts in support of their systems, infrastructure and daily administration and management. They will work closely with assigned Systems Engineers and internal teams to ensure that all aspects of the customer's ongoing system storage support and administration are successful. They will identify and corrects recurring technical issues and act as the SME (subject matter expert) for their storage environment for ongoing upgrades and improvements and working closely with vendors.
Required skills/experience:
- Experience with large corporate environments preferred
- Experience with moving/migrating systems and data from Legacy to Enterprise Arrays
- Strong technical knowledge of server, storage, operating systems and network infrastructures highly are desirable.
- Capability to mine performance and capacity data from enterprise arrays and formulate valuable analysis
- Strong understanding of replication and snapshot methodologies used in enterprise storage environments
- Experience maintaining high availability storage sub-systems capacity and configuration
- Experience troubleshooting complex incidents and problems associated to storage environments and related applications
- Storage Technology related certifications or training highly desirable (HP, EMC, 3Par, NetApp, Brocade, etc.)
- At minimum 3PAR and or NetApp experience required
- Successful candidates should have a minimum of 4-5 years of industry Storage related experience
