Position Description:
Position can be based in Wilton CT or Livingston NJ. travel to Wilton 2 days a week.
Manages the discovery and creation of new needed services at the strategic level and on a proactive basis
Monitors the external environment in order to understand changes in technology and the marketplace
Provides advice about IT innovation, what is happening in terms of industry and technology trends, and best to incorporate such innovations as appropriate and most cost-efficient into the business in order to take advantage of market opportunities, working closely with the Shared Services CTO to do so
Gathers input from the account as to what needs to change within the GIU Service Portfolio in order to support the business
Ensures alignment to long term strategy of AMG with GIU
Assists in identifying AMG's long-term systems needs and hardware acquisitions to accomplish its business objectives.
Ensure proper management of changes to the technology under management to efficiency satisfy the of the business with regards to applications, solutions and support.
Ensure stable, cost-effective, integrated and standardized application systems, resources and capabilities which meet current and future business requirements.
Supervise the implementation of technology in business improvement projects, advising on the operability aspects, feasibility, availability, cost and time estimations and possibility of implementation of the systems.
Responsible for ensuring existence of suitable applications and systems for the business needs in terms of technical norms, and requirements, availability, technical reliability and continuity.
