Major Professional Services firm is seeking highly skilled and experienced Virtualization Architect Manager with professional services experience managing people, projects around virtualization.

Must have extensive experience with virtualization, server, and remote technologies.  Need someone with as many of the following technologies as possible: VMware, Citrix, Windows, Linux, Terminal Services, Cloud computing, desktop virtualization.

Responsibilities:

• Planning and managing diagnosis and assessment activities and defining high level program/action plans.
• Identifying opportunities to drive more value from an organizations strategy through technology strategies.
• Ensuring technology requirements will allow modelling and address performance and security.
• Ensuring high level design supports a robust technology solution, taking into account the user requirements, technical requirements.
• Planning and managing technology design and activities.
• Planning and managing capacity planning activities.

Qualifications:

• Min of 5 years of hands on experience with Vmware, Citrix Xen, or Hyper-V.
• Min of 1 year of provisioning tool sets (BMC Blade Logic, HP Business Systems Automation, HP Openview, etc.)
• Must be a manager in a current role out of a large environment managing.
• Must have excellent job stability
• Must have Bachelors Degree
• Travel M-F required.
