Geek Squad Re Agent

Do you have interest in playing a vital role at the largest Geek Squad computer repair facility in the world? Geek Squad City is home to hundreds of Geek Squad Agents and support personnel who are passionate about making technology work for everyone.

The Re Agent fills a vital role in our repair process and is responsible for conducting quality testing of units prior to being shipped to the customer. Re Agents must have the ability to identify basic external components of a desktop (CD/DVD Drive, PS/2 ports, USB Ports, Audio in/out, Power supply - AC/DC), basic external components of a laptop (CD/DVD Drive, USB Ports, Audio in/out, DC Jack) and basic tablet components (Audio port, DC port). At least a basic level of knowledge in the use of personal computers, both laptops and desktops, and the ability to navigate Windows, Apple, and Android based operating systems and necessary diagnostic programs are critical.

Ideal candidates will have the ability to quickly determine what test needs to be run based on what was repaired, and adapt their testing methods as newer processes are created.

Successful Re Agents are detail oriented, and possess the ability to multitask, testing several units at a time while still having the ability to stay focused and driven. The Re Agent position requires the ability to work independently and meet both quantity and quality standards of testing.

This will be a 2nd (2:30 pm to 11:00 pm) shift position

Basic Qualifications

- Open availability to work a flexible schedule
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of personal computers and associated hardware
- Ability to lift and maneuver up to 15 pounds
- Good communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Associates Degree or Technical Degree in Electronics
- 1 year prior experience diagnosing and repairing PCs
- Certified Electronics Technician
