Job Description

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
Reports to the Sr. Security Manager. Assists with day to day functions around security operations, ie problem analysis and research, administration and maintenance of security technology. Manages projects and associated budget; Assists with setting and driving strategies; works with cross functional team to assess Global Security posture.

JOB FUNCTIONS:
-Responsible for the integration of information security controls and tools into the environment to identify risks and reduce impact
-Research technology solutions and make recommendations as necessary for innovative solutions
-Know how sharing across brands/divisions architects
-Responsible for managing projects related to the security operations area
-Develop effective relationships with key vendors to better resource cost effective security tools
-Responsible for monitoring security bulletins, newsgroups and other sources to stay abreast of security developments
-Maintain the dashboard/balanced scorecard report for security operations
-Ensure established Security Policies & Standards are being followed, as well as; all recommendations identified via an operational audit and/or risk assessment
-Manage perimeter security and serve as SME in the configuration and support of such devices
-Manage security incidents and conduct investigations into breaches of security policies, practices and procedures
-Responsible for meeting budgetary goals and objectives
-Responsible for meeting defined Service Level Targets
-Member of the Incident Response team that is responsible for analyzing all security issues, determine cause and impact and identify the corrective action needed to eliminate and prevent the event for the future
-Assist with Global risk assessments by performing ethical hacking duties and security architecture reviews
-Responsible for the security operations strategy and roadmap
-Perform hosting and risk assessments
-Perform global audits as part of ITGC
-International and Domestic Travel required (20%)

Minimum Requirements

EDUCATION:
-BS/BA in Computer Science, CIS or Information Technology or equivalent experience
Security Certifications (CISSP and Certified Ethical Hacker) a plus
-Microsoft certifications, MCSE, Security and or Technology certifications (CCSP, CCNE, CCNA, CCNP, SANS, etc) a plus

EXPERIENCE: (and other qualifications):
-5-10 years experience in one or more of the following: Information Security or -Information Technology with minimum of 3 year in Information Security
-Effective communication skills, proficient writing and organization skills
-Strong research and analytical skills and full technical knowledge of all phases of systems analysis
-Project management skills ? The ability to lead multiple concurrent projects
