Geek Squad City is home to hundreds of Geek Squad Agents and support personnel who are passionate about making technology work for everyone. We are looking for creative multi-media professionals to join our team as a Media Production Specialist.

The Media Production Specialist is critical to successful communications within Geek Squad City. The Specialist is a multi-disciplinary role, responsible for a variety of media projects including application coding with JavaScript, Quartz Composer, graphic design, videography (direct, produce, film and edit), and web design. This role requires a self-motivated professional with a proven record of meeting deadlines and producing superior work under minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Coordinate, plan, produce and direct internal media programs for educational and information purposes.
- Write scripts, select locations, build sets, choose props and model as needed.
- Sequence and edit work, write narrations and determine titles, animation and music.
- Maintain internal communications aspects of website.
- Write, edit and update coding for both applications and SharePoint website.
- Graphic design.

Basic Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2 years' experience in media production
- 1 year video editing experience
- 1 year web design experience

Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates or higher degree in media related field
- 1 year experience creating shooting scripts for video and/or web production
- 1 year experience coordinating shooting locations, sets and props for video and/or web production
- 1 year experience programming with HTML, JavaScript, SharePoint, and/or Quartz Composer
