Description
Key Role:
Perform engineering for government computer security systems on the Automated Logistics Environment (ALE) that delivers full lifecycle weapon system logistics. Perform configuration, maintenance, and administration of information assurance (IA) systems, and perform security analysis, problem reporting and tracking, and documentation of resolutions and performance. Leverage Certification and Accreditation (C&A) experience with DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Package (DIACAP) to perform tasks, including developing a Systems Identification Profile (SIP), Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M), Risk Assessment Reports, and other required Navy documentation for system accreditation. Analyze network and system vulnerability scans using ACAS or Retina network security scanners and SCAP tools to validate the implementation of IA controls in accordance with DoD 8500.2. Ensure that DoD security and team functionality requirements are met.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
-3+ years of experience with computer systems security
-Knowledge of DIACAP
-Secret clearance required
-HS diploma or GED required
-8570-Compliant at IAT Level II or IAM Level I, including Security+ Certification
Additional Qualifications:
-BA or BS degree preferred
Clearance:
