JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Software Application Engineer will support tasks and participate in the design, implementation and support of IT systems which meet the requirements of the Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Army and other Government agencies. Additional responsibilities include:

- Develop both web-based and standalone applications, database software, Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs), and Logistics support software.
- 10% travel to customer site at Indian Head, Maryland.

Qualifications:
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:

- Candidate must be able to obtain DoD Secret Security Clearance if hired.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- 2 years' experience in software applications.
- Experience developing web sites and web applications in C#, VB.Net, and JavaScript desired.
- Experience developing stored procedures in SQL desired.
- Experience developing, delivering, and maintaining production-level software.
- Comfortable solving complex problems.
- Ability to work in a changing environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.

EDUCATION:

- Associate's degree in Computer Science or other degree with comparable relevant experience.
