Key Role:
Work directly with a system security manager to maintain the overall security posture of an enterprise network system. Perform computer and network security incident management. Gather data and perform analysis of network intrusions, viruses, and other malware in order to determine if any damage caused, steps required to recover from damage inflicted, and changes required to prevent future occurrences. Manage Host Based Security System (HBSS) for an enterprise-level network operations center, including deployment and removal of all associated modules and subcomponents, policy development and maintenance, troubleshooting, log review, and status reporting. Validate system security posture through the use of vulnerability scanning tools, including eEye's Retina Network Security Scanner and DISA's Gold Disk (GOTS). Identify, correct, and mitigate the vulnerabilities to ensure adherence to DoD and Navy policies and procedures, if necessary.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:-Experience with DIACAP process-Active Secret clearance required-BA or BS degree and 4+ years of experience with computer security in secure network and system design, analysis, procedure, and test generation, test execution, and implementation of computer and network security mechanisms, or 8+ years of experience with computer security in secure network and system design, analysis, procedure, and test generation, test execution, and implementation of computer and network security mechanisms in lieu of a degree

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
