Key Role:

Lead systems administration and engineering teams. Provide support for ongoing operations and planned system upgrades and address system design and configuration issues that impact operations or support the enhancement of software and hardware components that support the client. Lead tier 1-3 support staff by managing work assignments and determining priorities. Make and implement enhanced system design recommendations for improved performance and efficiency. Lead the tier 3 engineers with the analysis of implementation plans, preparation of system design, testing and PCR and ECP documentation, and efforts to enhance event management, as required, meeting new service level and performance management requirements.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
-7+ years of experience with IT enterprise systems management or administration
-Experience with IBM Tivoli NetCool, including monitoring, OMNIbus, precision, business services manager, provisioning manager, impact, and reporter
-Experience with using BMC Remedy for service desk operations
-Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux
-Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree in IT, CS, or Systems Engineering

Additional Qualifications:
-MA or MS degree in IT, CS, Systems Engineer, or a related field preferred

Clearance:
