Description

Key Role:
Provide systems security and engineering support for ongoing operations, system planning, and upgrade and address system security design. Provide configuration management that impact operating risk issues or support vulnerability reduction for software and hardware components in the Block 1 Network Operations Center/Security Operations Center (NOC/SOC), command and control (C2), and information technology infrastructure (ITI) subsystems. Leverage expertise with system security hardware and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) implementation, integration, software configuration, vulnerability scanning, and testing. Perform predefined security analysis activities, update trouble tickets and work orders in event management software, including Tivoli, Maximo, and Remedy, and escalate issues, according to standard operating procedures. Support the development of implementation plans, preparation of security design, testing and PCR/ECP documentation, efforts to enhance security management as required to meet new cyber security and vulnerability management requirements, and transition to new managed hosted service environments.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:-5+ years of experience with best-of-breed Security Operations Center (SOC) tools, including ArcSight, Nessus, McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator, Cisco MARS, Cisco Secure Access Control Server, and Microsoft Active Directory-Experience with using BMC Remedy for service desk operations-Experience as a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux Advanced Server administrator-Active Secret clearance required
-BA or BS degree required

Additional Qualifications:-BA or BS degree in a technical field preferred
