Description

Key Role:
Participate in the design, coding, testing, debugging, and implementation of software applications to meet user requirements. Perform full life cycle Web application development, including design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation of new or existing software. Help to define and recommend system enhancements and solutions for IT problems. Assist with writing and supporting development and system documentation and meet project deadlines in a timely manner. Exhibit excellent communication expertise and thrive in a dynamic team environment. Analyze, recommend, and implement proposed new technologies. Implement software best practices in coordination with other developers. This position is located in Indian Head, MD.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:-1 year of experience with Web application development, Web services, and system-level design using the software development life cycle-1 year of experience in an Object-Oriented Programming language, including Java, C++, Python, or Ruby-1 year of experience with databases, including Oracle, MySQL, or Postgres and database development languages, including SQL or PL/SQL-1 year of experience with JavaScript or PHP-Active TS/SCI clearance required-BS degree

Additional Qualifications:-Experience with using and developing for the Ozone Widget Framework-Experience with PHO and PHP MVC frameworks, JQuery, and Oracle 11g-Experience with RESTful and SOAP Web services, Hibernate, and Spring-Experience with Web application development and AJAX technologies-Experience with version control, integration, and build tools, including SVN, Git, Ant, Maven, Quickbuild, and Jenkins-Knowledge of Perl-Ability to work in a dynamic multi-contractor environment-Possession of excellent interpersonal skills-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
