Responsibilities
* Be able to both independently develop and test database update processes (ETL, SQL) as requested as well as assistance from senior team members.
* Apply a thorough QA approach to all development tasks and deliver quality results on schedule.
* Correct code or performance problems identified by yourself or others.
* Effectively communicate verbally and in writing with peers and other technical staff.

Qualifications
* Database expertise in one: MS SQL Server, Oracle
* Batch scripting. experience preferred, programming background required
* Beginner expertise in SQL and PL/SQL
* Expertise level in at least one: Java, C#, SSIS, Web Services, ETL tools, Data Quality tools, SAS.
* At least a novice in two of the following areas: data warehousing, CRM, ETL, SDLC, Data Quality (including name/address parsing and matching).
* Basic skills with QA skills and habits, attention to detail.
* Proven track record of problem analysis and resolution, troubleshooting.
* Demonstrated ability to design and develop high quality code/solution on time.
* Demonstrated verbal and written skills
* Education and relevant experience in technology/engineering. BS degree or 2 years experience
