Description
Provide strategic technology leadership to Capital One's Capital Markets and Derivatives businesses. Ensure business applications are available and performing to specifications. Lead large team of associates, consultants and contractor resources to accomplish organizational objectives and goals. Manage multi-million dollar budget to ensure effective controls on expenditures and compliance with accounting guidelines. Analyze and determine change impacts to functional team and business clients. Provide routine and on-demand communications to executives and partners on the performance of business applications.

Responsibilities:
- Manage technology support teams to develop business applications, or ensure business applications have high availability and adequate performance, to include demonstrating year-over-year performance improvement.
- Manage associates to ensure their success and development.
- Provide consistent and accurate feedback to business partners on performance of business applications
- Manage the budget
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure value of products and services delivered. Manage up to 25 people

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- 5 year of experience in Strategy Development
- 5 years of experience in People Management
- 10 years of experience in Project Management
- 10 years of experience in Information Technology
- 2 years of experience with capital markets/derivatives technology systems, eg Murex

Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Business, Commerce, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Management of IS or IT
- 5 years of experience in Strategy Development
- 5 years of experience with capital markets/derivatives technology systems, eg Murex
- 10 Years of experience in People Management
