Command and Control Solution Architect/Engineer, Senior-01139942
Description
Key Role:
Provide systems analysis and portfolio management across a wide range of complex missions, programs, and systems. Work in a team setting to set strategy and provide technical guidance on the maintenance and modernization planning of a large enterprise-level family of systems. Interface daily with senior leaders, program executives, and chief engineers to plan programmatically and technically the most efficient approach for interoperability, reuse, and enterprise collaboration and implementation. Develop products, including briefings and whitepapers to articulate business needs, mission goals, and technical issues and views to wide range of technical and non-technical stakeholders. Provide expertise in systems engineering and architect best practices, including evaluation and assessment of current and future architectures for modernization and standardization. Conceptualize and document blueprints that define baseline and objective architectures for enterprise interactions, dependencies, and relationships from the driving mission and business processes to the infrastructure components. Provide technical architecture expertise to portfolio managers, program managers, and chief engineers in design reviews and key presentations.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience with DoD systems engineering processes
-Experience with systems engineering and systems analysis competencies
-Experience with portfolio management, architecture, and design
-Experience with solution architectures and architecture standards and frameworks, including DoDAF and DoD Command and Control mission and associated family of systems
-Ability to develop and communicate quality projects, including technical and non-technical briefings and whitepapers
-Secret clearance required
-BA or BS degree required
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with developing reference architectures
-Knowledge of the DoD acquisition lifecycle
Clearance:
