SAIC's Cybersecurity Business Unit has job opportunities for Network Engineers in Mclean, VA. Qualified candidates must possess an active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.

The Network Engineer will work closely with our Intelligence Community customer in planning, designing and evaluating various components of their network. The Network Engineer will: install, configure, and support an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), Sponsor's Internet Network, Intranet and other data communications systems or a segment of a network system while maintaining network hardware and software, and monitoring network to ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability.

Qualifications:
Mandatory Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and 8+ years experience in a broad range of assignments in technical tasks directly related to the proposed area of responsibility.
-3+ years of progressive experience in the IT field supporting systems and services.
-An understanding of Client Server network architectures including authentication and authorization considerations.
-Demonstrated experience with enterprise identification, authentication, authorization, intrusion detection, security monitoring, antivirus/antimalware, infrastructure protection and Trusted Path support for multiple enclaves.
-Experience supporting tiered applications, and complex enterprise systems that include geographically disbursed user populations.
-Familiarity with security analytical/vulnerability assessments tools.
-Ability to coordinate and de-conflict network operations teams; to include incident response, penetration, remediation, vulnerability assessment teams.
-Experience using host-level security capabilities to enhance detection and prevention of computer vulnerabilities and threats.

Desired Qualifications:
-Experience with CDMA (code division multiple access), data transport, network services.
